You can buy 24 cans of Coca Cola for seven quid at Tesco - that's cheaper than bottled water.
How can that be right in any way?

I think that it's excellent news.
Hopefully, it'll cut-down the number of disgusting, fat, wobbly cunt messes walking the streets and costing the NHS huge amounts of money due to their health issues and so forth.
Fat cunts are, firstly, disgusting to look at and a barrier when travelling about due to their immense frames and - even more significantly - they cost tax-payers shit loads of money.
This new tax should help counter against this problem to some degree.

Irrespective of politics, Jamie Oliver is a massive drizzle of a cunt.

Bad diet is as bad for you as fags and booze and costs the taxpayer as much or even more dealing with the effects, so a tax is perfectly fair and long overdue.

I have no problem with this tax on sugary drinks. No-one should let their kids drink sugary fizzy drinks. its as much about toothcare as obesity which I am surprised didn't get mentioned in tonight's news reports.

Hahaha! I've upset some fatties then!
I don't think weighing just over 12 stone is in the weedy bracket - but if you're close to 20 stone then you probably think if is!

Yes punish these poor cunts for getting too much sugar but let's also do a cocaine tax for all those bastards in the House of Lords who are bang on it. Stones and greenhouses.

That's bollocks. The Exchequer gets more tax and duty from booze and fags than it could ever spend on fixing the victims of these up.

When I was a kid having a glass of pop was seen as a treat and I would be given maybe one or two glasses a week.
This is a good thing and all the tax raised will go to fund sports in schools.
